As a junior:
Made 30 starts and drove in 21 runs for the Lions ... tied for second on the
team with four homers and had 25 hits with 20 runs ... also made one start in
three appearances on the mound ... recorded a pair of strikeouts in 5 1/3
innings ... pitched a scoreless 12th inning to earn the save in the Lions' 6-5
win at Pittsburg State (Mar. 15)
As a sophomore:
Played in eight games and started seven before an injury pre-maturely injured
his sophomore season ... drove in four runs, with one hit and scored twice.
In junior college:
An all-around athlete at R.D. Parker High School in Thompson, Jeff earned
all-conference honors at Williston State after the team captured conference and
regional tournaments . . .
In high school:
A shortstop, outfielder and pitcher for the Parker Trojans of Coach Todd
Harwood, Jeff was selected the most valuable player and varsity athlete of the
year . . . he was captain of the hockey team, voted the hardest hitter in
volleyball, and started two years as a midfielder on the soccer team.
