Lions fall 4-0 at No. 18 West Texas A&M

Canyon, Texas
-- Aaron Thornton scored two goals to lead the No. 18-ranked West Texas A&M Buffs past the Missouri Southern Lions 4-0 in Southwest Soccer Conference action Friday afternoon (Oct. 19) in Canyon, Texas.

Thornton rounded out the scoring with a goal at the 66:26 mark of the second half.

The Lions (3-8-2, 0-4-1 SSC) were out-shot 24-7 overall and 13-4 on-goal.  Neil Stoessel (Papillion, Neb.) led the Lions with two shots-on-goal.
