Hansen, Whiles named to All-SSC squad

Richardson, Texas -- Junior goalkeeper Jon Hansen (Wichita, Kan.) has earned first-team All-Southwest Soccer Conference honors, while senior Austin Whiles (Overland Park, Kan.) has been selected to the All-SSC second-team, the league announced Wednesday (Nov. 12).

Hansen recorded a conference-high 86 saves and also ranked fourth in the SSC with two shutouts.  He finished the year with a 2.85 goals-against-average.

Whiles led the Lions with two assists, including the game-winning helper on Nate Evans’ goal in the Lions’ 1-0 win over Northeastern State (Oct. 15).
