FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Four Lions earn SSC All-Academic honors Four Missouri Southern Men's Soccer squad members have earned Southwest Soccer Conference All-Academic honors for the 2006 season. Senior Seth Creed (Webb City, Mo.), juniors Dushan Gorechan (Wichita, Kan.) and Ryan Morris (Topeka, Kan.) and sophomore Brett Kohler (Waterloo, Ill.) have been selected to the SSC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll. Creed is a marketing major with a 3.514 grade-point-average. He appeared in 16 matches and recorded 11 shot-attempts, with seven on-goal. Gorechan, a business major with a 3.557 GPA, played in all 18 matches and recorded one goal. He ranked second on the Lions with 21 shot attempts and was tied for third on the team with eight shots-on-goal. Morris maintained a 3.791 GPA with a major in biology. He saw action in 16 contests as a defender, with two shots and one shot-on-goal. The Lions, under fourth-year head coach Kiley Cirillo, finished the 2006 season with a 3-11-4 overall record and an 0-6-2 conference record.
