Southern tennis drops a pair to open spring
Lions fall to Drury, Rockhurst
The Missouri Southern State University
women’s tennis team opened its spring 2004 schedule at
home on Saturday and Sunday with dual matches against Drury and
Rockhurst.
On Saturday, Drury, ranked No. 28 in the
nation and coming off a victory over No. 4 Ouachita Baptist
(Ark.), took a 9-0 decision over the Lions.
On Sunday, Southern faced off with
Rockhurst and came away with a 6-3 loss.
