Drury defeats Lions 7-2

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (March 12) -- Kristen Meschede and Ashton Lawrence had the only wins of the day for the Missouri Southern women's tennis team in a 7-2 loss at Drury.

Meschede won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 4 singles over DU's Megan Blosser. Lawrence picked up a 6-4, 6-3 victory at No. 6 singles over Drury's Marie Minowa.

Missouri Southern returns to action on March 19 at Northwest Missouri State. Southern also plays a pair on March 20, at Missouri Western before meeting South Dakota later in the day in St. Joseph, Mo.
