Lions drop heartbreaker, 5-4 to
Washburn
JOPLIN (April 9) -- Missouri
Southern's women's tennis team captured wins in two of three doubles
matches to open play on Saturday with Washburn, but came away with a
5-4 defeat.
The Lady Blues won four of six singles
contests with the Lions, who dropped to 5-6 overall and 2-3 in the
MIAA.
Missouri Southern resumes play on
Wednesday (April 13) by taking on Southwest Baptist in the regular
season home finale.
