OMAHA, Neb. -- Missouri Southern's Kasey Adams rallied for a 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 victory Saturday (May 6) in the final match to lift the Lions to a 5-4 victory over Nebraska-Omaha and into the NCAA Division II Round of 16.

The Lions, the No. 3 seed in the regional tourney, advanced to Saturday's final by virtue of a 6-3 defeat Friday (May 5) over North Dakota.

"Kasey just took control of her match," said MSSU head coach Jane Posch. "She made it easy to watch because she didn't let the pressure get to her. She just went out and won it."
