FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Bentonville, Ark. - The Missouri Southern tennis team took two of the three doubles matches, but lost the first four singles and fell to the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith today, 6-3 in Bentonville. Southern (6-4) won at No. 1 and 3 singles as Kati Anderson and Brittany Kockler won 8-2, while Brianna Tunnell and Alex Lewis took their match 8-5. The Lions, however dropped the first four singles matches as Lewis would be the only Lion to take a match, winning 6-0 and 6-1 at No. 5 singles. Southern will be back in action on April 2 as the Lions travel to Emporia State. |
