Lions defeat
Evangel 6-3 at home

Joplin, Mo. - The Missouri
Southern tennis team scored a 6-3 win today defeating visiting Evangel
at the Missouri Southern Tennis Courts on campus.
The Lions picked up two wins in doubles
competition as Kati Andersen and Alex Lewis won 8-5, while Audry
Buckland and Becca Sterling took home their match 8-1.
In singles play, the Lions won all but
two matches.
Southern will return to action this
weekend when the Lions travel to Northwest Missouri on the 13th and
Nebraska-Omaha on the 14th.
