Lions fall in
regular season finale to UMSL, 8-1

Joplin, Mo. - The Missouri
Southern tennis team fell 8-1 today to visiting Missouri-St. Louis in
non-conference action at the MSSU Tennis courts on campus.
Kati Andersen picked up a win at No. 1
singles, defeating UMSL's Pujitha Bandi 6-3 and 6-2.
The Lions will now face off with Missouri
Western at 8:30 am on April 25 in the first round of the 2009 MIAA
Tennis Championships at the Plaza Tennis Center in Kansas City. The
Lions defeated Western earlier in the season, 7-2 and the winner will
take on no. 1 seed Washburn in the second round.
